Meet Lorraine – The Face Behind Lollipop Learning 🍭
Director
With over 13 years of experience in primary education, Lorraine is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who believes that learning should be fun, engaging and accessible to every child.
Having taught in the UK and internationally in Phuket, Thailand, Lorraine has a wealth of experience in Early Years and Primary education, including leading an Early Years department in the UK. Her approach combines creativity, encouragement and a genuine understanding that every child learns differently.
Lorraine has a particular interest in language development, early literacy and communication. She has undertaken additional training in systematic synthetic phonics and explored Makaton to support children’s communication and learning.
Throughout her teaching career, Lorraine has also worked extensively with children and families with additional needs, providing individualised support, respite care and working alongside multidisciplinary teams to implement tailored therapy programmes.
Now based on the Costa del Sol, Spain, Lorraine brings her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to Lollipop Learning, offering personalised English and maths tuition to help children build confidence, develop essential skills and rediscover the joy of learning.
Her teaching philosophy is simple:
